Brown Butter Brownies
Ingredients:
2 sticks of unsalted butter, browned
3 eggs
1 3/4 cups light brown sugar
1 Tbsp vanilla extract or paste
3/4 cup Dutch cocoa powder
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
Chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F. Prepare 8x8 pan with greased parchment paper
Brown butter on the stove.
In a bowl, add eggs and sugar. Whisk together until pale (this makes sure the top is crackly)
To the butter, add 1 vanilla and cocoa powder. Whisk together so there are no lumps.
Add the cocoa mixture to the eggs/sugar. Fold in until there are no streaks. Then add the flour and salt. Fold together until just combined.
Add chocolate chips (measure with your heart!)
Pour mixture into prepared pan. Top with some extra chocolate chips
Bake for 20-25 minutes. Let cool in pan and cut into brownies!
